Wisconsin Crispy Fish Fry

Instructions

  1. Rinse fish fillets in cold water and pat dry.
  2. Put 1/2 cup of Fry mix in a plastic bag, dust the fillets with Fry mix – Shake off excess.
  3. Blend 1 cup of fry mix with 2/3 cup of water. Slowly add additional water, mixing constantly until it is the consistency of pancake batter. Let the batter rest for five minutes.
  4. Dip the fillets in batter and fry in oil of your choice (350°F) until golden brown and the fish has an internal temperature of at least 145°F.
